Our Story

Food that's good for the soul.

Miriam's opened in 2023 with one idea: give Clatsop County a place where the food tastes like somebody actually cooked it. Every recipe on our board is original — worked out in our own kitchen, adjusted until it was right, and made fresh when you order it.

You'll find us tucked into the little food court at 200 Broadway, one block up from the sand. It's a small counter and a short walk, and that's the whole point: order, wait a few minutes for something hot, and take it to the beach or grab a seat.

"Fresh, hearty, and simply unforgettable."

We're proudly women-owned and Latino-owned, and we cook for everybody — families off the Prom, locals on a lunch break, and the folks who've been coming back since our first summer.

"Easily the best fish and chips in town. Great burger as well! The mother and son are both wonderful. I've lived here a few months now and eat there frequently and they have never disappointed."

"When at the beach it seems only right to have fish and chips. The fish was cooked perfectly, the fries were hot and crispy, and I recommend spending the few extra dollars for the halibut — but the cod is good as well."
